Our Story
Our family-owned and operated business began producing hand-crafted soups for Whole Foods Market 20 years ago at our New England-based facility. In 2020, we constructed a new manufacturing facility in Big Timber, Montana (Yellowstone Soup Co) to better serve our customer base west of the Mississippi. We supply regional and national foodservice distributors, major retail chains, and independent restaurants in both North America and South America.
We produce a wide variety of seafood, meat, poultry, and vegetable-based soups and chili. Our seafood proteins (clams, lobster, haddock, and scallops) are sourced directly from local harvesters in New England and our wild-caught salmon is sourced from harvesters in Alaska. Our meat and vegetable-based soup and chili ingredients are locally sourced from Montana, Idaho, South Dakota and North Dakota.
To minimize our carbon footprint and reduce energy consumption, our Montana manufacturing facility is designed with the latest building technology and energy-efficient equipment. Our facility is also designed around our stringent Good Manufacturing Process (GMP) program to optimize food safety and employee safety.
